It would seem that Ragnarok Online is eating my life once again.

Excellent.

In other news, my financial situation here at Texas A&M is currently uncertain. Whee!
Apparently the amount of money I thought I was getting and the amount of money my adviser is telling me I'm going to get aren't the same. In fact, they differ by $15,000 a year... Not cool.

However, I've been making calls and seem to have found some allies that agree that I'm getting screwed over. Hopefully this will all be worked out in the near future. At the moment, however, there isn't much I can do. My adviser left town for a week the day after he dropped this bombshell on me.

I feel fairly confident that we can work this out, but if worse comes to worst I'll stay here for one year (I've already signed a lease on my apartment) and take out a loan (RAGE!). After that, I can see if the other university I was considering still wants to deal with me. I could also just go back to Wazzu for my Masters and then take it from there. Hopefully, though, none of that will be necessary.
